Day 13 - The Ligth of Bethleem

      Day 4 of the annual Month of Holiday Cards Challenge, on Beccy's place  - Letter L.

Since I already had the patern for this type of card, I chose to do a layered card with a lot of lights. 

Day 5 - Enjoy Christmas

    Day-5 of the annual Month of Holiday Cards Challenge, on Beccy's place  - Letter E.

The inspirational words for this project are: elves, eggnog, evergreens, easel cards, exploding cards, embossing, ecru, ebony, embellishments, encaustic, envelopes

The easel card is one of the easiest shaped cards that I also love to do. I learned about that last year on Beccy's place.

Apart of this inspirational word (easel  card), I used the blue embossed cardboard and some embellishments to pretty it up. 

Day 2 - B - Birds and bells card

 Day 2 of the annual Month of Holiday Cards Challenge, on Beccy's place  - Letter B.

The inspirational words for this project are: Blitzen, boots, bows, box cards, bendy cards, building block cards, bleaching, beads, brads, burnishing, blue, brown, black, baubles

For this particular project I have followed yet another one of  Beecy`s tutorial. This time I chose a building block card, decorated with birds and bells stamps. Those on the front of the card are layered.

A look towards spring - Privind către primăvară - Beccy's challenge (1/24)

 This is my first entry to the monthly challenge on Beccy's place. In January, we had to use a Beccy's digital stamp and an additional optional element and this month it's all about flowers and plants.

Aceasta este prima mea participare la provocările lunare la Beccy. In ianuarie trebuie să facem o felicitare folosind o ștampilă digitală din magazinul lui Beccy și un element opțional, în această lună refertor la flori și plante.

My choice for this card is the freebie colored crocus flower stamp from this month's challenge. I printed the image four times in order to do a multilayered card (3D decoupage). In the end, I needed to use a  fifth printed image of the flowers. I cut out the pieces that I needed and stacked them together with foam double sided tape.

Am ales să folosesc stampila digitală colorată oferită gratuit în această lună. Am printat-o de patru ori pentru a realiza o felicitare 3D decoupage (în straturi). In final a fost nevoie de 5 astfel de imagini printate. Am tăiat piesele necesare și le-am lipit cu bandă dubluadezivă cu burete.

For the base of the card I used white cardboard cut in A - frame card, with a grid inspired from this tutorial.

Pentru baza felicitării am folosit carton alb, tăiat pentru o felicitare de tip A (A-frame card) cu un grilaj realizat după tutorialul acesta.

Day 1 - A - Angels

 For the first day of the Annual Month Holiday Challenge of  Beccy's place, the inspiration words are:

Angel, accordion cards, a-frame cards, altered, aperture, A2, acetate, acrylic, alcohol ink, aqua, alabaster, almonds, apricots, apples, amethyst, antique, Arctic, animals, antlers

Finally, it was the time for me to do the card for the first day of this challenge. I choose to do an A- frame card decorated whit two beautiful angels.

I took the image of the angels from a 3D decoupage sheet an I cut out by hand every piece of the multi layered picture. I used double-sided foam tape to stick together the layers.  

Day 8 - G - A 5G card

 For the 8th day of the Annual Month Holiday Challenge of  Beccy's place, the inspiration words are:

gifts, garland, gingerbread, green, gold, gamsol, gesso, gap card, gate fold card, gilding, gold leaf, glitter, glass, glossy accents.

The story of this card is quite funny: I started from one inspiration word, that I haven't used in the end; and finished with five: gift, glitter, gatefold card, green, gingerbread.

I started working on the central piece, the 3d decoupage with the snowman and the gifts. Fortunately, the sheet had glitter, that worked very nicely with G- theme. Then, I made the base of the card - the gatefold card, where I've added the green cardboard on the inside. For the front of the card, I cut from a patterned cardboard the gingerbread figurines.  Finally, I wrote the greeting, using a silver glittered marker.

Day 6 - E - An easel card

 For the 6th day of the Annual Month Holiday Challenge of  Beccy's place, the inspiration words are:

elves, eggnog, evergreens, easel cards, exploding cards, embossing, ecru, ebony, embellishments, encaustic, envelopes.

I chose to do an easel card combined with a 3D decoupage card:

For the structure of the card, I use the instructions from this tutorial, and for de snowman I use a pre-cut decoupage sheet from a kit that I had.
